HEALTH NEWS

The US Food and Drug Administration has just approved a device that acts as an artificial pancreas; it is the size of a coin and is adhered to the skin of the abdomen through filaments that regulate levels of glucose every five minutes, whilst also dispensing insulin according to what the body needs.
This revolutionary device will be able to be used from the age of 14 and will greatly improve the quality of life of those children and young people that suffer from this type of diabetes.
The company that manufactures this device under the name Miniset 670 G is currently refining the device so that children over the age of 7 can use it.
We look forward to this device being accessible as soon as possible to all that suffer from this pathology.
