It is a temporary obstruction of the coronary arteries that only lasts for a couple of minutes.

The difference between suffering from a heart attack and Angina Pectoris, is that when suffering from Angina Pectoris, the pain disappears after resting and it only manifests after doing exercise or if suffering from a type of emotional stress.

It is an acute pain in the centre of the chest due to a spasm of the oesophagus, which hinders eating and swallowing for a number of minutes. It is usually related to the presence of hiatal hernia or other oesophageal pathologies in the majority of times.
